Will I actually feel the weight?
Yes, because of where it sits rather than how much it is. A weighted blanket spreads ten to fifteen pounds thin across a whole bed. Enfold puts its weight into the hood and shoulders only, which is where you carry a day, so you feel it as a hand resting there rather than as a load.
The weight was set in development, not picked because it sounded good. It is a lighter garment than a weighted blanket on purpose, because it sits on your hood and shoulders rather than spread across a bed. You have thirty nights to disagree.
Does it run hot?
It does, and that is the honest answer. It is soft plush from throat to ankle, built for cold offices, autumn and winter. It is not a July afternoon garment.
The open sides vent more than a zipped robe does, so it is manageable in a room that is merely cool. If you overheat easily, treat it as an evening layer rather than an all-day one. If it is still summer where you are, tell us your city and we will write on the first cold night instead of taking the order now.
Does it work sitting up, at a desk?
That is what the open sides are for. Your arms come and go at the front edges, so you can type, hold a cup, or answer the door without shrugging out of it. It pools around you when you sit and is cut as a long layer when you stand.
This is the whole difference from a weighted blanket, which stays on the bed you got out of.
Fabric & weight
Smooth 480gsm matte fleece outside; soft polyester plush within, hem to hood rather than a collar trim. The weight is a fine glass-bead fill, quilted into small channels through the hood and shoulders, so it rests where a hand would. About 1.8 kg (4 lb) in all.
Shell 80% cotton, 20% recycled poly. Plush lining 100% polyester. (Enfold Luxe is lined in 16 mm deep-pile faux fur.) Weighting enclosed, baffled, silent. Edges bound all round.
The fit: one size, floor-length
A long cape with a deep structured hood. Product length is 56 in / 142 cm shoulder to hem. Open at the sides. Arms come and go at the front edges. Compare the measurements with a long layer you already own.
Taller than 6’3″ and it sits nearer the shin than the floor. It still covers you, it just reads a touch shorter. The one honest catch: the hood sits close by design, to hold the weight at the back of the skull. If you like room, wear it back off your head and the drape does not change.
Washing & care
Machine wash cold, gentle, inside out. Lay flat to dry. The fill takes time to settle back. No bleach, no dryer. The fill is baffled and enclosed; it won’t shift or clump in the wash.
When will it arrive?
Right now it takes up to a week to leave us, then usually 5 to 14 business days to reach you, depending on where you are. Tracking is included; customs can add time. The arrival dates near the top of this page already include the wait.
How do the 30 nights actually work?
Thirty nights from delivery. Wear it, and wash it once if you like. If it is not the thing you reach for, email your order number to hello@sleepsolenne.com and we send a prepaid return label: no return postage, no restocking fee. Once it is back, in fair-use condition and undamaged, we refund your original payment method.
