Spüre ich das Gewicht wirklich?
Ja, wegen der Stelle, nicht wegen der Menge. Eine Gewichtsdecke verteilt 4,5 bis 7 kg dünn über ein ganzes Bett. Enfold legt sein Gewicht nur in Kapuze und Schultern, dorthin, wo du den Tag trägst. Du spürst es wie eine aufgelegte Hand, nicht wie eine Last.
Das Gewicht wurde in der Entwicklung festgelegt, nicht ausgesucht, weil es gut klingt. Es ist absichtlich leichter als eine Gewichtsdecke, weil es auf Kapuze und Schultern liegt statt über ein Bett verteilt. Du hast dreißig Nächte, um anderer Meinung zu sein.
Wird es zu warm?
Geht das auch im Sitzen, am Schreibtisch?
Genau dafür sind die offenen Seiten da. Deine Arme kommen an den vorderen Kanten heraus: tippen, eine Tasse halten oder die Tür öffnen, ohne es auszuziehen. Im Sitzen liegt es weich um dich herum, im Stehen fällt es als lange Schicht.
Das ist der ganze Unterschied zur Gewichtsdecke: Die bleibt in dem Bett, aus dem du aufgestanden bist.
Stoff & Gewicht
Passform: eine Größe, bodenlang
Ein langes Cape mit tiefer, formstabiler Kapuze. Länge 142 cm von der Schulter bis zum Saum. Seitlich offen, die Arme kommen an den vorderen Kanten heraus. Vergleich die Maße mit einem langen Teil, das du schon hast.
Über 1,90 m sitzt der Saum eher am Schienbein als am Boden. Es bedeckt dich trotzdem, wirkt nur etwas kürzer. Der eine ehrliche Haken: Die Kapuze sitzt bewusst eng, damit das Gewicht am Hinterkopf bleibt. Wenn du mehr Platz magst, trag sie nach hinten gelegt; der Fall ändert sich nicht.
Waschen & Pflege
Kalt im Schonwaschgang, auf links gedreht. Liegend trocknen. Die Füllung braucht etwas Zeit, um sich wieder zu setzen. Kein Bleichmittel, kein Trockner. Die Füllung ist in Kammern eingeschlossen; sie verrutscht und verklumpt beim Waschen nicht.
